Royal Polytechnic College (RPC) is a co-educational, self financing polytechnic established in the year 2007 by MMIRT Educational Trust under the dynamic leaderships of Founder Chairman Mr.KRN.BOSE B.sc, and Trustee Members, Mr.KRN.Ramesh Tmt K.Indurani, , B.PANDISELVI. R.RADHA .This polytechnic has been approved by Government of TamilNadu and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Affiliated by Directorate Technical Education, chennai. The infrastructural facilities have been provided at optimum level for effective instruction. The Institution is situated at Kulathur on the National highway between Pudukkottai and Trichy at a distance of 18 km from Pudukkottai Near by Keeranur.
Separate Hostel facilities are provided for Boys only
Hostels are provided with good recreational, communication facilities, play courts, indoor games etc.
Round the clock security system functions for the safety of the inmates
No student is admitted without submitting the application for admission
Admission into the hostel is made for every year.
Mess charge per month will be collected based on dividing system
Prior permission should be obtained from the deputy warden or tutor if an inmate wishes to stay away from hostel during late night
Absence from the hostel without getting permission will be viewed seriously
The hostel gate will remain closed from 7.30pm to 6.00am
Loss or damage of electrical and other fittings are common to all students of the block
Strict discipline should be maintained within the hostel campus
The inmates of the hostel should not bring any day scholars or strangers into the hostel at any time
All working days 9.30AM TO 4.30PM
Students should enter their names in the entry register
Other than library books, no other items should be taken to the library
Students should have their ID cards
Strict silence should be maintained in the library
Only 2 books will be issued to the students at a time
Books should be returned within 15 days
For the delayed period a fine of 1 rupee per day will be collected
Advance reservation is required for some special books
Reference books and periodicals will not be allowed to be taken outside the
In case of loss of books, the students should inform it immediately to the Librarian
Books should be handled carefully
Reading periodicals in groups should be avoided
All books should be returned before examinations
The library should be kept clean and tidy
The corners of books should not be folded
The pages must not be torn
Nothing should be written in the library books
The personal money or letters are not to be kept in the books
The college has a fleet of 10 buses that ply from vantage points in and around trichy, aranthangi and other places to the campus and back to facilitate comfortable commuting for both students and staff. The buses are manned by drivers who are well trained and experienced in safe driving practices.
The college has provided all best and modern equipments for best coaching to students.
Our Polytechnic College is a member of Inter polytechnic Athletic Association for Sports and Games. Special coaching is given to identified students to drive them up to participate in divisional and state level competition
